I am putting together a contesting trailer and looking for suggestions and
recommendation for antennas. At this time I will be installing antennas and
equipment for 6, 2, 220, 432 and 1.2. When not traveling, the antennas will
be mounted on top of a 30' crank up tower. As you know there are several
possible sources for the antennas. Rather that trying to list all of them I
will like to hear your suggestions. I do not need antennas that will survive
high winds or being covered with ice. What I do need are antennas that will
survive being transported to and from the contest location and easy to
assemble. Instead of looking only for antennas that can be broken down and
transported inside of the 5th wheel trailer, I am considering attaching the
larger of them flat against the driver's side of the trailer during travel.
That will provide an area about 22 feet long to support them, less for 6
meters due to element the length. That will expose them to road vibration
and wind. I could go on and on but I think you get the idea. Comments?
Suggestions?

George
