Does any one have experience using the Elecraft XV-50 with an IC-781 or
IC-765??

Unfortunately there is very little in the Icom Manual on its
“TRANSVERTER”
Port, or on its use with Transverters.

Can anyone supply me with a Diagram (or Description) of the required
connections??

My main two concerns are:

1) It appears that the ACC2 Pin-6 must be connected to +12VDC in order
   to activate the Transverter Jack.
  a) Is this correct?
  b) Does the +12 on this Pin have to be SWITCHED for any other
reason than to activate the Transverter jack?
.
2) Is the TRANSVERTER Jack BIDIRECTIONAL - meaning is it used for BOTH
   Transmit and Receive???

3) Or does the TRANSVERTER Jack feed the Input of the Transverter, and
the Transverter feed receive RF back to the IC-781 / 765’s Primary
   Antenna Input???

Thanks and 73 -→ Dave, W9ZRX
