After a relaxing weekend watching "Tora, Tora, Tora" followed by "Patton" I
took some time this afternoon to get the Exedition Rover ready for it's run
and gun Fall VHF Sprint run.
I will be active on 2 Meters for the entire event please look at my
optimistic schedule:
7:00pm - 7:40pm FM18AX Sky Meadows Sate Park
1000ft ASL
8:00pm - 8:40pm FM19AB Mount Weather
1700ft ASL
9:10pm - 9:40pm FM09WB Who knows where
700ft ASL
10:15pm - 10:30pm FM08US Little Devil Stairs (Looking South) 3200ft
ASL
10:35pm - 11:00pm FM08US Hogback (Looking North/North/West) 3200ft
ASL
I will be active while in flight and will be on 144.247 while on the move.
The Expediton Rover will have 13 Elements with rotator and 300 horsepower :)
This test I will be using an XV-144 Elecraft and an toned down FT-100D hope
this improves the 100D in order for it to be useable on Skyline Drive. We
shall see.
I hope all had a great QSO Party, mine a bit dreary from the FM18 abyss
however a highpoint highlight was working W1RT/R on 5.7G armchair SSB copy
in FM16. Now I just need to get the 10G straightened out and get DEX off
some rain.
