Hello VHF'ers:
I was gonna go up to the UP of Michigan again. I've been there
many times and it's beautiful. But the cold front will be
approaching and passing up there during the contest. I got enough
rain in the 10G contest 2 weeks ago. So, in my quest to activate
more grids to earn more CSVHFS Reverse VUCC/r awards, I'm setting
off to new areas for me.
Sure, I won't know the good spots, but that adds to the challenge
of the contest. I hope you need some of these grids, look for, and
find me during the contest multiple times.
I'm only activating 8 grids--that
should give ample time, particularly on Sunday, to hang out in
grids and bang away in many directions. If you hear me weakly,
give me a cw call. Hey, I hope to hear stations from K8GP to
Kansas City and all over.
I'll have the following equipment (pending visits from Murphy):
6m dipole and 160w
2m Jr boomer and 160w
222 Jr boomer and 120w
432 C3i beam and 100w
903 looper and 100w
1.2 KLM beam and 50w
2.3 Looper and 6w
10G DSS dish and 2w
I will be CQ'ing on 144.240 . PLEASE find me there! I will try
to make only brief visits to 144.200. I will generally carry you
to .140 on the other bands (6m will be up the band from any
activity)

EN-41 1800-2000z
EN-51 2000-2200z
EN-50 2200-0000z
EN-40 0100-0300z
Sunday
EM-49 1200-1430z These two northwest of Springfield, IL
EM-59 1530-1800z
EM-48 2000-2200z EN-48 will get my least emphasis
EM-58 2300-0300z These last two just east of St Louis
