So far, so good... Replaced some stuff, got the trash and extra junk
mucked out of the Bus... now in the process of stowing stuff that will not
necessarily be needed for contest ops, but, should be kept handy in case
of Murphy...

So much for heavy-duty Lowpass Filters! The one I had developed an
intermittent... something... anyway, replaced it with fullsize lowband can
tuned on 50.125, gives about 50khz 2:1VSWR bandwidth...

Bolted it to the ceiling above the 6 meter operator... who will have to
duck slightly when sitting so as not to bump into it... the price one pays
for interference-free operation, I guess.

Been poring over maps and such, figured out a tentative route... starting
in CN84, then CN83, CN72,71,70,80,90,91,92, and if time permits (would
like to get into the Bend, Oregon area before contest end) a detour into
DN02,01,return thru DN02,03, then CN93 and CN94... work K7HSJ on
everything he has, then head home!

Departure from CN87QM NLT 0600L! Should make CN84 at contest start if all
goes well.

So far the crew looks like myself, KE7V, N3QQ, and non-ham driver.
Possibly have W7GLF along, maybe...

Station equipment will be "standard Enterprise II" ABCD9EFGHI, and if
W7GLF can show, "J"... 1W with one foot dish, 4dBnf... basic SDH radio
with GPS locked PLO...

Looking for microwave QSO's from folks in Northern California, if you are
up late...

As a result, will CQ occasionally on 144.250 to set up skeds where that's
possible.

Otherwise, we will call on calling frequencies and TEN KHZ up!!! Working
frequency will be 10Khz above call, assuming pileup!

As we will be rolling thru lots of "dark territory", mostly in the dark:-)
and many of you are looking for the grids we will be activating (no
accident there BTW) the plan is to run the beacon mode on the Yaesu rigs
used on 6, 2, and 432 Mhz, UP 10 from the call... Text something like
CQ TEST DE KB7DQH/R K and repeating every 2 or so minutes.

If you hear, call on the same frequeny... If the operator is awake, he can
answer and get you in the log!

If you are not sure what an "enterprise II" is, just search my callsign on
Youtube...
