An updated VHF_USA.ZIP file has been posted to
http://download.win-test.com/databases/.

VHF_USA.ZIP contains a VHF.DTB Database consisting of the Callsigns and Grid
Squares of 12, 242 stations located primarily in Canada, the Caribbean,
Mexico and the USA. A few calls from outside the western hemisphere also
appear.

The Database was formed from Contest Logs for the June, July September and
January VHF Contests provided by stations in all regions of the US and from
Ontario.

Note that the Win-Test Database Download site also contains a VHF.ZIP
Database. The Database is composed primarily of European Calls.

Which ever Database you choose to use should be installed in your Win-Test
Directory as VHF.DTB.

This Database drives the "Exchange Guessing" feature of Win-Test. If
Exchange Guessing is Enabled and in Automatic Mode, when a callsign of a
station included in the Database is entered, its Grid Square will be
automatically retrieved.

THIS IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR CORRECTLY COPYING THE GRID SQUARE. THE
OPERATOR IS STILL RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING THAT THE GRID SQUARE LOGGED
MATCHES THE RECEIVED REPORT.

The Database can ALSO be provided sorted by Callsign, or by Grid Square, as
either a Text or EXCEL File, upon E-Mail Request.
