I am new to ham radio and VHF during the lasr year. But the world above 50MHZ
is of interest to me,and I bought a FT-847 and 6, 2, and 70 cm yagis. Other
than 6 meters and contests, just never hear any one in North Ga.
Kinda bummed I missed the ONLY post on this list about the up comming Sprints
and the date for 2 M Sprint, When folks are around I cover a wide area on 6 &
2. Are there any more contest for 2M before June?

If someone's posted this info here, I've missed it.
The 2009 Spring Sprints kick off on 2 meters next Monday night, April 6th,
7-11pm your local time.

The 222 sprint will be on Tuesday evening, April 14th.
432 on Wed. evening April 22nd.
Microwaves on Sat. morning, May 2nd, from 6am - 1pm your local time.
Then 6 meters on Sat. evening, May 9th, from 2300Z to 0300Z.
Make plans now to get on and support the Spring Sprints with activity.
Talk it up with your local and regional VHF'ers.
