This is a whip that I stuck in the mag mount and have not tuned yet.
Plus all signals were very weak for me. Just barely copiable above the
HUGE noise level I have. This was something that I just 'tossed' onto
the car for listening. So I know the two and a half watts from the
FT690mkII wasn't going to cut it even when N8NWA is in my 'backyard'
and I wasn't hearing him that well either.
