I saw the 1500 at our last North East Weak Signal meeting and it is
tempting. I have 4 radios doing hf-2304 (soon 3456) and would like to
consolidate. The 1500 might be a choice except I will need to down convert
from most of my IF's on 2m. This will take a lot of work plus all new
cabling. A unit like this that goes higher in freq such as the Softrock,
might be more realistic. I have a Flex 3000 in the box waiting to move up
the list. I try and complete one project before starting another. hihi
