Hi folks-

Following a recommendation from the ARRL VHF/UHF Advisory Committee, the
ARRL Programs and Services Committee voted to change the power limits
for Single Operator, Low Power entries in ARRL VHF+ contests on 902 MHz
and above.

In ARRL VHF Contests with a Single Operator, Low Power category, the
power limit on 902 MHz and up was limited to 10 watts. This has been
increased to 50 watts.

This power level increase will take effect beginning with the 2011 ARRL
August UHF Contest.

See http://www.arrl.org/general-rules-for-arrl-contests-above-50-mhz for
complete information.
