It is easier then that. The rules are laid out for a reason and are
specific. If you can not follow the rules then do not participate.

PS
get off my bumper because I am not going to go faster then the posted speed
limit

Hello everyone....Here is a classic example of the way the current ARRL
rules discriminate against Single-Op stations. Steve has a nice score
for a Single-Op station. He was forced to enter as a faux Multi-Op
because he admitted to looking at the Internet. OMG!! Horrors...the
shame!!!

Of course many others, either knowingly or unknowingly, will ignore this
and enter as a true Single-Op....which, in fact, they are. It is like
the old 55mph speed limit....hardly anyone paid any attention to that
either, unless a cop was riding their bumper.

This situation is easily fixed. Just allow Passive Assistance for all
classes. Recently, CQ allowed Passive Assistance for all its HF and VHF
contests. Guess what? The world of contesting did not go to hell in a
hand basket. All the "cheating" allegations(about whether or not
someone "took a peek") are suddenly gone. Most of the discrimination
against true Single-Ops just disappears. Single-Ops compete against
Single-Ops and Multi-Ops compete against Multi-Ops. What a concept!!

To all Single-Ops: If you are tired of being treated as a second class
citizen, stand up!! Refuse to shut up and go to the back of the bus.
Visit with your Director and Vice-Director. Tell them that the
discrimination needs to stop.

See you in the July CQ WW VHF contest....16th and 17th of July. GL to
everyone....
