Fun contest with lots of activity but no observed openings. Enjoyed using my
Flex 5000 for the first time on lower 3 bands which I am going to move all
bands into. Worked more Rovers than usual and would like to suggest they give
their 6 digit grid without being requested making it easier to log and locate.
Best contacts were VE2 in FN25, FN00, FN34 and amazing signals from WA2BTR/R in
FN42 and FN51 Roving on the Cape. 2304 transverter died and 1296 went into self
oscillation reducing my scores on those 2 bands. For January hope to have all
or most bands into Flex, 3456 installed and maybe 10ghz.
