I totally agree.

Should we as VHF/UHF/u-wave ops all suggest that the sprints be delayed
a week or two? The series could begin either the last Monday of
September or the first Monday in October in 2012 and beyond.

I'd personally prefer the last Monday in September so that things don't
get too bunched up later in October. What do others say?

On the Fall VHF Sprint webpage:
http://www.svhfs.org/2011fallsprintrulesv1.pdf it says...

While the rules for the Fall Sprints are set for 2011, we are always
open to suggestions on how to
improve them for the future. If you have an idea on how to make the Fall
Sprints better for next
year (different dates, times, rule change, etc.) please drop the Fall
Sprints Chairman a note and help
out.

Please contact the Fall Sprints Chairman Bruce Randall WD4JQV.
WD4JQV@arrl.net.
