I have quite a few of the insulators for thru-the boom
mounting of antenna elements, but I need the stainless
steel retainer rings for 3/16 (.188) aluminum rod.

Anybody know of a source?? Got some at Lowes, but they
are not stainless, and won't last long I'm sure.

Thanks

Ralph,

I think your best opporuntity might be with Directive Systems (www.directivesystems.com) or M-squared (www.m2inc.com). Both of these companies use the retainers you describe on the VHF/UHF yagis they sell.

I don't think you'll find these parts in a common hardware store. Perhaps in some sort of specialised hardware store, but I'd try the links above first.
