Bill Wiseman, KM1E/C6AGN, recently died at his home in Maine. Bill was a part-time resident of Green Turtle Cay, Abaco, The Bahamas, since the 1950s. He was a very active operator and loved six meters. Bill let me keep my beacon, C6AFP, FL16, at his place after ours was sold. Bill was also quite active on 160 and could be heard every year giving QSOs during the winter months when he was on the island.

Bill had a distinguished career in WWII leaving the British Army as a major in 1945. His obituary is worth reading.
