The fall Contest is almost here and I'm putting the final touches on
packing For our trip to Steens Mt Oregon DN02 "The Oregon Outback"
Present plan is to leave on Thursday 9/10, Set-up and do some testing on
Friday 9/11.
I have no idea if I will have a working phone or internet! Maybe I can find
someone in the Burns area to work with as a "pilot"
SATURDAY: 6am to 9 am (1300utc to 1600utc) I run fsk 441 with or without
Pingjockey.
9am to 11am I'll goof off with phone and take a rest before the
contest starts
Contest : 1800utc to 2000utc I'm on phone 6m and 2m 50.142 and 144.212 I
also will have 223.5 fm 60 watts and 432 at 100watts.
I will have a 2m fm element beam that I'm pointing at the Boise
direction 146.580
2000utc I'm going to run FSQcall on 50.230 for 1 hour if there is
no propagation,if there is e's to work I'll wait till later...
I'll switch to jt65a or fsqcall if and when things slow down.
CW is not my strong suite so I will try but please go slow and be
patience with me QRS PLease!
Sunday : I'll Shoot rocks in the am FSK 441 till 1600utc then move to
phone OR WHATEVER for the rest of the day.
