I would like to put my new 3456 transverter on the air for the microwave sprint
tomorrow morning. I dont yet have test equipment for the band. The other Kuhne
transverter and amplifier I have came with a test report that showed monitor
voltage at rated output. I cant seem to find the monitor voltage for this
transverter (MKU 34 G3 USA). I see the handwritten test report showing noise
figure and power output, but no MON voltage. The schematic says 1V typical at
0.4 W. I am seeing 0.6V max. direct into a dummy load (through the relay). I
backed it off to 0.58V. Should I be concerned that I am not seeing something
closer to 1V ?

I am running a FT-290R as an IF radio using the +12V output to key the
transverter and I have a Teledyne relay connected directly to the transverter
output using 90 Deg. SMA connectors. I was adjusting the "TX gain" pot inside
the transverter attempting to get more output. There is more adjustment left on
the pot when I get to 0.6V, but continuing to turn it doesn't result in higher
voltage.
