Dear Pack Rats & Friends,
What are you doing this weekend, September 10th & 11th?
Several Pack Rats along with members of the South Jersey Mountain Toppers
will combine their efforts again to set up and operate a multi-op station
under the call W2EA from High Knob in the Poconos in grid FN21KH for the
September contest. We will be at 2047 feet ASL on bands 50 MHz thru 10Gig
with good power and antennas.
Whether you are anticipating putting in as much time as possible or just
getting on for a short period of time, we encourage all Pack Rats & Friends
to get on the air and work us at W2EA. For those of you that may only be on
for a short time, we will be monitoring the ON4KST chat page as well as the
Pack Rats Members Chat Page for anyone wanting to work W2EA. In addition,
any other acceptable assistance methods are available to alert us of your
operations during the contest. The cell phone/text numbers on site will be

Those of you who have traveled to remote locations in the contests know it
takes quite an effort to plan, set up, operate, and disassemble a mountain
top station. Please support the W2EA group going to High Knob this year by
working us on as many bands as you have. We look forward to giving out FN21
to as many stations as possible and to help increase activity for all
stations to an all time high in the ARRL September Contest!
