I heard a bunch of bursts on 50.260 Saturday morning. I tried to decode with no
success.I immediately went to Ping Jockey and gents told me they are using
version 2.0I had a few minutes to spare and decided to download the new
programSuccessWorked a few scatter stations immediatelyThis morning I turn on
six meters and see the band was open. I head to 50.313 and with the new
program,I could not decode anyone.
I head to K1JT's site and down load 1.9. Again I immediately start making
contactsNow here's the problem gentsLast year I remember some stations in the
contest using Contest Mode. Others were in QSO mode
It was a nightmareWhat will happen in the January contest ?Will guys be using
1.9 or 2.0Will they be using QSO or contest modeThe word better get out quickly
or the January SS will be a mess
Just my thoughts from Bear Creek, Pa73Merry ChristmasHerb K2LNS
