In reference to some of the Field Day Discussions earlier here this month:

Remember - Field Day is not like the VHF Contest where you only get 1 QSO per 
band.   Certainly, most of the activity will be on FT8 like it was for the
VHF contest, but if a Sporadic E opening is long and strong - go down to SSB 
and CW to see if you can pick up extra points.

One Field Day tip -  have a runner between your 10 meter and your 6 Meter (VHF) 
station to alert each other about Sporadic E openings, or better yet,
locate the 10 meter station in or near the VHF tent (recognizing you have to 
count 10 meters as a transmitter).
