The Sprint provided a good opportunity to blow the dust out of
things and check the 6 meter station which has been mostly unused
for two years (since most of the activity went to FT8). Everything
worked great. The amplifier pumped out plenty of goo, no spiders had
managed to get into the HV, and my local noise level was zero.

After spending several hours working on a roof with essentially one
functioning leg and constant pain in the other one I only stayed in
the operating chair for the first 90 minutes of the Sprint. It was
slow going. Worked:

WZ1V FN31 SSB signal 55
W3EP FN31 SSB signal 57
K1ZE FN31 CW signal 519
K1TEO FN31 CW signal 519
N2NT FN20 CW signal 419 (437 miles)

Heard W1ZC and W?1F?? chatting with each other and a third station
whom I couldn't hear but they didn't appear to be working the
Sprint. Heard K1AC working others numerous times but there was no
opportunity to call him. Heard W1OP very weak on CW, he stopped or
turned the antenna just as copy was getting good enough to call.

I hope to be on for the 2 meter, 222, and 432 sprints and the lower
four bands in September VHF. Operating time will be somewhat limited
unless I'm feeling better.
