70 cm Fall SPRINT To Be Held OnWednesday Evening , October 7th
1. On Wed evening, 07 October, the 70 cmFall SPRINT will be held from
7:00PM – 11:00 PM PDT, although most activitywill be noted between 7 and 9 PM.
2. Commonly used frequencies will be:
a. 446.0 MHz FM Simplex
b. 431.1 MHz USB/CW
c. 432.313 MHz FT-8
d. Note: Repeater use NOT permitted
3. Information to be Exchanged:
a. Callsigns
b. Grid Locator (Note: All Ventura Co.Stations are in DM04)
4. Home equipment, mobiles, and handheldsare all permitted
5. Hint: Operating from a high point orhilltop will help you to work
further distances
6. N6ZE plans to operate from a localThousand Oaks area hilltop from 7:00
to about 8:30pm
