While I was unavailable to be on for the contest due to a prior commitment, I'll agree with Alan that SSB/CW activity on 6 meters and up is hard to come by when the band(s) aren't helping. I do believe that digital presents a unique option, but it reminds me of being in a room of young folks all staring at their phones, not conversing with each other. The east coast seems to have the most SSB/CW activity on average, while folks in the midwest like me here in SW Ohio struggle to get any sort of good contest scores unless digital modes are employed.
