I opted out of this sprint as the rules didn't make sense. Pick any 4 hour
period to operate in this specified window is sort of dumb. How do you
determine the window when most others will be operating? And the "work
stations twice " option (analog & digital) is absolutely STUPID and only
favors those in locations with large numbers of hams such as the northeast.
I did get on and passed out a few contacts, but I was looking for specific
grids/states and did not answer any random CQs or call anyone that did not
call me directly. My plan for the remain sprints is the same.
On the bright side, I did add a new state to my annual States Above 50MHz
totals for the Central States annual competition.

And to add to the confusion, the 3830 scores page for the 2M Sprint is
completely messed up.
Everyone has zero mults LOL.
If we kept the old Sprint rules there would be no confusion, and no wasted
time with this monkey business.
I sent Kent at Central States my vote of no confidence.
I had 56 Qs / 25 Grids bonafide contacts.
63 / 25 if I include the monkey contacts.
Not my cup of tea and needless time wasted that could be better spent
chasing distant mults.
I hope some of you will stand with me to speak out against this fruitless
change to our classic Sprints.
