New user of WriteLog here. I have yet to use it in a contest. I've been
reading the email archives and help files with great interest. At this
point I'm very low on the learning curve. You have all been there I'm sure.

I have a rather extensive multi/single layout here with com port networked
PC's running CT, K1EA boards and all. With all the TIC ring rotor boxes,
WX0B stacking controls, Antenna steering switches, monitors, keyer paddles,
keyboards and such.....the thought of having to integrate yet another
device in this bee-hive of activity worries me some. (Station pix of AA8U
are at <http://www.qsl.net/mrrc/>)

It looks like the WriteLog program requires much more mouse manipulation
than previously required by CT or NA. Normally after the screens are set up
the mouse can be tucked away to make room for a coffee cup or a sandwich.
Now I have to deal with a mouse too? It is hard enough to keep a run
frequency these days, hesitate and you DIE!

I would like to see comments of how others have dealt with mouse "aided"
contesting. How does it feel in the heat of battle compared to CT for
example?

Also, when I purchased the program I was thinking it had CT compatible
keystrokes. So far the only significant compatibility seems to be in the
QSO entry window cursor navigation. Your comments on this?

73 all,
Bruce
