Iused a couple of no name opto isolators from Radio Shack and they work
fine in the circuit with about 500 ohms in the input lead.
The the 2 NEC Dual photo-transistor Output Optoisolators specified in
the
specs for the W5XD Multi-function keyer are no longer available from
Digikey.
Does anyone know of an alternate source for the chips or an available
pin
compatible chip from another manufacturer?
