Hi Barry,
I said the same thing when I first tried it. The way it works is you 
have to log a QSO on a band, before it will FOLLOW YOU.
It doesn't make sense to me either. When in S & P mode, I like to 
move to a new band, and start jumping on the packet spots. Can't 
do it using Follow Me.
