If you go to Trey's Cabrillo site you will se that both are defined.
I assume the ARRL will take either?

You most likely created a ".rtf" file. If so, you should be able to
read it with WordPad. WordPad comes with MS Windows. You should be able to
get to it via Start, Programs, Accessories, WordPad.
