Hello !

Over the weekend I was using Writelog 10.20 in the two radio mode
and noticed the following.

Setup

Radio #1 calling CQ on band X

Radio #2 S&P on band Y

Left radio is highlighted

The following happens......

Shift <down arrow>
enter callsign of station from radio 2
hit F4, calls station if not a dupe
WL assigns #40 for QSO number
station calls someone else, leave the callsign in the box

Up arrow
Now back to radio 1
call CQ again on radio 1
answered by a station
hit F4
WL assigns #41 for QSO number
work station

Down arrow
now back to radio 2
station called before is no longer there
ALT W (clear callsign)

Up arrow
back to radio 1
call CQ again
station answers
WL assigns #40 for QSO number
work station

Shift down arrow
F4, check another callsign on radio 2
WL assigns #41 for QSO number
work station

This allows WL to give you 2 Q's with the same number #41.

As there is no facility to change the QSO number using the log edit your
stuck ! This also lets the sequencing of the log get switched ie when
viewing the log you get number N+1 before N !

This same thing happened to me twice during the SS.
There should be some way to dynamically edit the QSO number is somthing
like this happens ??

On another note...... Is there some sequence of keys that can be used to
turn on the CW xmit ? This would be usefull for those of us with remote
antenna tuners and amplifiers. I need to key the xmitter for a short
time to adjust the remote inductor and cap when changing bands
40/80/160.

Comments ??????

Thanks, Jerry, KE9I
