I have experienced the same problem and never have been able to alter its
behavior. It would be nice to have the band map come up in the "right"
place/size when WL starts up.

Window.

I appreciate those who have given me assistance thus far. I would like
to state that I am well aware how to save my configuration and log file.

I like to place my Bandmap window full screen height with about a 2 inch
width along the left edge of my screen. Lately, I have found that
Writelog will ignore this placement and go to a default screen size. I
have even gone in the writelog.ini and under [bandmap] changed x=0 and
y=0 then started Writelog only to have the Bandmap display in what I am
calling a default size sort of in the middle of the display. Strangely,
if I then close Writelog without saving anything and then re-open the
writelog.ini file my values for x and y will be changed in the [bandmap]
section.

I have found through experimentation that Writelog will accept my
Bandmap arrangement at full height on the display as long as I leave
about a 1/2 " gap between it and the left edge of the screen. I do not
understand why this is happening. I used to be able to save it at the
left edge of the screen with no problems. It is almost as though the
Bandmap.exe program is checking the x, y, W, and H values in the
[bandmap] section of writelog.ini and replacing it with a default size
and location if it does not like one or more of the values.
