Here are the Cyber Amateur Radio Club awards for the year 2000.  Thanks to
those who emailed in nominations.


Dr Heimlich Award : Mako JE3HHT:      For breathing life into RTTY and
rescuing it from the PSK31 choke-hold

Most Overrated:     Riley Hollingsworth K4ZDH  ...Despite his hard work the
bands remain a mess.

Mr. Congeniality:         Jan KX2A for his splendid efforts in leading the
Zakanaka and MMTTY help teams.

Biggest Disappointment:      The Solar Cycle.

Sahara Desert Award for DRY humor :       Bob Furzer K4CY

Pseud of the Year (thanks to Private Eye):     Jim KH2D

The Halcion Sleeping Pill Award:                  WB6PSY his Ebonics act is
getting quite tiresome.

Mr. Versatility?  Nick UT2UZ :     MixW, more modes that you can shake a
stick at.

Software of the Year:            Zakanaka with MMTTY.

Best Reflector:                   The MFSK Reflector. Good info , friendly
people, and no squabbles.

Missing in Action:               CT contest software,  a tired looking
program. Time to retire and hand the mantle to Writelog?

Karl Marx Award:              For sharing equally... Moe AE4JY

Trendsetter Award:            The DigiPan Team .

General Ham Site:              eham.net (http://www.eham.net/

Biggest tragedy:                 9A4SP 4W/9A4SP , Carlos Luis
Caceres-Collazo KD4SYB  , and Samson Aregahegn  killed in East Timor.

Most Missed Voice:         Alan EA7BA the perfect ham, SK.
