This came to me...not sure how ....I have answered how to
join the list...perhaps some long term WL users might like
to answer direct until Jim is on the list. I guess he is
reading the archives.

I am sure we can encourage Jim.

Dear Wayne.

I bought my copy of Writelog just a month ago. I printed
out the manuals and two other very useful 'hint' pages. I
studied and studied these Manuals until last weekend when
the WW WPX was on.

I was very worried as I still didn't know how to operate it
properly, however on the day everything fell into place and
I had a wonderful time. Unfortunately , I believe I am the
only user of the program in ZL so I have to call upon others
for helptne, I read your input to the reflector , that's how
I got your n ame etc. I am a old retired Policeman, got
extremely hurt one particular day and are now severely
disabled, but what a great hobby this is as it passes the
day and it's quite exciting. But I do have a couple of
questions if you do not mind.

1. When using it for everyday use, how do you store the CQ
away so that you don't have to type it in every 30 sec in
'type ahead'. And the second questions, how do you get into
a position where you can write to everyone asking for help.
I've used the reflector, I've read all the FAQ and still it
beats me.

Would you mind helping me out until I get this second
question working.

Thanks for reading this Wayne, I really do appreciate it.

Jim. (zl2bmh@infogen.net.nz)
