Anyone that's willing to help me a little with Writelog CW and sound
recording, please reply privately.
I've used Writelog primarily for RTTY and some SSB. I'm wired such that
I can do RTTY and PSK via the sound board. However, I have the
following challenges:
1. I can't receive CW. If I have the Rittyrite window up, I get the
usual sound board spectral display shown. It has activity, and I can
see a lone CW signal. However, no matter how I tune, I just get garbage
in the Rttyrite window.
2. If I close the Rttyrite window and open the "other" CW window, I
have -NO- signal activity in that display.
3. I have never been able to record my RTTY Q's, and have no idea why.
I know how to specify the the location of the wave files, and I know
about setting compression. I know about "Enable Recording Loop". But
always, after a few Q's, if I go back and try to replay one, there's
nothing listed to play.
Is there a common thread running through all of this? I can record
stuff just fine with something else, e.g. the Windows Recorder etc.
I've even recorded some SSB messages in Writelog, and even "recording on
the fly" works. Thanks!
