One other important note: If you used W9XT within DOS, you found that F1=CQ,
etc. Within WriteLog, the first F key is F3 which is the equivalent to F1
within DOS. So if you are using it, try pressing F3 and see if you don't get
a CQ message that your used to - providing the ports are setup correctly as
in the previous post.

PS I have NO IDEA why it works this way.

Subject: [WriteLog] w9xt card and WriteLog
hello to the group.
The Raytheon Amateur Radio Club (WD5GSL greenville,
tx) has recently purchased Writelog after using NA for
abt a year.
The problem: the w9xt card worked FB with NA but
refuses to talk with WL. I have read some of the
manual and now totally confused. Do I have to re-wire
the interface?
I am hoping someone has been thru this and can advise
a fix as we use the station daily on 10 Meters.
Thanks
Mike N5KB
