Bill,
Not quite correct. The status of the DTR and RTS leads has
changed from inactive in Win98 to active in WinME ONLY DURING
BOOTUP. Afterwards all is the same. Problem is that without
extrnal cutoff switch, rig keys during boot and then all is OK.

Microsoft is aware of the problem, has a fix, but wants you to
