To those that have offered suggestions on my earlier post of "data
from FT-1000MP", thank you.
My problem is with MMTTY plug-in.
What I did to get some relief, mentally, if nothing else: I installed a
new WriteLog in a new folder. Activate the program. Use
SETUP/Ports and set RIG to proper COMM port and select correct
radio. All works well. Freq and Band info is displayed and follows
changes in radio's controls.
In this new folder for WriteLog, I have not mentioned the existence
of MMTTY.
Unless there is a subtle WriteLog.INI instruction error in the first
installation file then I suspect the MMTTY is not yet totally compatible
with WriteLog.
