I have recently purchased W/L but have yet to use it in a contest because I
do not have enough comm ports on my computers to set it up the way I need
to. I have spent several weeks trying to upgrade my computers with
additional comm ports but have not been successful in this. I am now
looking at the W5XD keyer box and trying to determine if this will solve all
my problems. Has there been any review on this unit ? Will this box allow
you to run SO2R or MultiSingle with out any additional comm ports ? In
addition to the comm port the keyer is on will it still require another comm
port to link computers ? As a "Newbe" with WriteLog I would appreciate any
suggestions. I know not everyone is using this keyer box so how did you set
up your computers with enough comports and what would be the min number of
comports needed.
