Perhaps a little explanation is in order about the need/use of a
"master.cal" file for rtty contests. I admit ignorance about this and have
the following questions:
1. Are master.cal files maintained for CW or SSB contests?
2. Reference is made to "new" rtty contestors and "huge participation in the
contest" In there not hugh participation in all major CW/SSB contests (CQ,
ARRL, RSGB and many others)? And "new" contestors in those all the time?
3. Are not UBN's a natural by-product and shouldn't they be handled pretty
much the same by all contest scorers?
I probably have other questions, but that 'll do for now.
Sorry for the BW, but I'm really confused by this.
Thanks, Don W6FFH
