That's correct, everyone should set their mailers to send plain ASCII text,
that's the only way to be sure that everyone can read it. Yahoogroups has an
option you can set in your profile that converts incoming HTML reflector
mail to plain text but I don't think that contesting.com has that feature.
Fortunately my mailer doesn't care but there are many that do.
