[WriteLog] ? in M field for USA contacts

I was using Writelog for the ARRL 10m contest this evening and
now that the band is dead (for me) I noticed that all my US
contacts have a question mark in the multiplier field and are
not being counted.  I seem to remember this topic a while back
but can't seem to find the answer in my archives.  Please give
me a hint.
