Hello....
I am new to the software and to this list, so there is a fair chance this
could have been covered before.
The standard 2N2222 interface from the LPT port woriks just fine with my
Dell desktop connected to an FT-100D, but when the above radio is connected
to the Toshiba notebook, the keying is very erratic.....incomplete
characters etc. It does not seem to be a PTT timing issue as the radio keys
and drops out as expected.
Any suggestions sure would be appreciated; I am beginning to suspect a
current sinking problem with the notebook, perhaps suggesting a different
keying transistor?
