Your experience is an important lesson for all of us.
In my CT days I recall that there was an option to send the log as your went
along to a floppy. I don't think something like this is available in
WriteLog (I could be wrong).
Of course the files are a lot bigger and a floppy probably would not do,
however I would like an option whereby one could assign a 'backup' file to
WriteLog and then it would keep it up to date during the contest in case
recovery is needed. What I would try is to route it via the network to
another machine as an example. If sufficiently flexible it could be sent to
any accessible writeable device.
Is this already here and I don't know about it? If not I think it would be
a good idea.
