I was told by Ameritron that the external QSK box is more reliable, at
least if you are planning to use it with one of the higher power amps.
The implication was that it was better to be opening a small box to make
repairs than fooling with the amp.

The biggest thing is to toune it on low paer and then to load it heavily
and
that way it will be efficient and the tubes will last. Do not run the
grid
curent over 200 MA.

I cannot answer this.

I do not know.

THe is no Web SIte but the dealer will show you. It involes clipping one
wire, it shouod be fairly obvious but best to have somene show you. It
works
well on 10 Meters.
Get the 4 tube version 811H, worth the slight extra cost.

I have been pretty happy with nine. The price is amazing. You must be
careful to avoid arcing over buy tuning on low power and try to use a
tuner
or a resonant antenna. DO that and it will last I am told. It has the
huge
advantage that tuber replacement can be had for around 60 bucks. You
can't
even buy the pins on the 8878 or some of those other high class tubes
for
that!
The signal is perfectly clean and 15000 pep is only 3 db down form a
full KW
which will cost AT LEAST 1000 more. Yes if I could afford a Henry 2k or
the
like I might buy it but I don't know if many could tell the difference
in my
signal?
