Help files state:

"Keypad * clears the RIT setting on your rig if it is attached and if it
supports such an operation."

I can't get the keypad asterisk key to clear the RIT in my FT-1000D.

The FT-1000/D CAT Command set supports clearing the RIT. RIT is called
"Clarifier" in the manual. To clear the Clarifier, the operating manual
says the following Hex is required:

09 FF 00 00 00 (In reverse order) - see page 37.

If this is broken, maybe we could get this operational in a future WL
upgrade. I would LOVE to have it working.

Also, the 756PRO2 _might_ support clearing it. See page 81 of the operating
manual:

0565 Send/read quick RIT/.TX clear function (0=OFF, 1=ON)

This 0565 code was not available in the PRO model. Lots of new CI-V control
codes in the PRO2 - one pageful in the PRO manual, about 3 in the PRO2 manual.
