Hi Again, Thanks for help.
The problem was with me (as usual)
I'd selected the wrong window/mode and all works just as it should now.

I now wonder if instead of recording the letter A, as A, B for B and so
on, if
it might have been better to use/record the phonetic alphabet??

Opinions please,
