Have you made sure that 98 detected the com ports? Check under the device
manager that the com ports are working properly...you may need to remove
them and let windows detect them again. Do any other programs work with the
comports right now? Before reloading writelog make sure it is not an OS
issue.

Hi guys, just a quick one for you, I have always run win95 on my shack pc
due to its stability. Last night i decided to upgrade to win98. Having done
that w/l seems to be telling me that all comports are unavailable. Should a
reload of the software cure this ( having saved my ini file) and reloaded
the latest version of w/l or is there another issue with win98 i have
missed. Thanks
