A few things to try:

In the ports setup window is CW Generates selected?
What are you using for CW PTT? None (QSK)? If so, is the rig in Full Break
in mode?

If that is not it, you might need to change an INI option because it might
be looking at the wrong pin for your setup.
This is from K9JY.com:
Revert WL Parallel keying to 10.29 Top of Page
WriteLog version 10.29 changed LPT port CW behavior to match NA/CT/TR on pin
1. This INI option makes WriteLog version 10.29 and higher behave like the
older versions and put inverted CW on pin 1 as some older parallel keyers
(e.g., W9XT card) won't work correctly on the upgraded software. This in the
[Ports] section of the WriteLog.ini file.

Hi all,

I'm running ver 10.34B in Win98se. CW keyboard is not sending, LPT1 is
checked in setup ports, as is PC Generates. BIOS LPT1 port # matches the
Writelog.INI #.

The same hardware works fine with DX4WIN.

Any thoughts on what to try next?

Best Regards, Eric (W1EL)
