I switched from WL v. 10.25 to v. 10.38 right before the RTTY RU, and added
MMTTY v. 1.63. The MMTTY worked great. I did have a couple of problems with
the packet spot window. First, it would only show spots when I was connected
to the packet cluster. I have my TU set to MON On, which I think is the
command that should allow spots whether connected or not. It always worked OK
with 10.25. The other problem was in the packet spot window. New spots show
at the top of the window and scroll down as additional spots come on.
However, the window was showing the oldest spots (those at the "bottom" of
the window), rather than the newest ones. If I used the slider switch to go
to the top of the window, it would drop down to the bottom again when the
next spot came into the window. I didn't really need packet for this contest,
but I do use it in other contests since I run low power and use S&P 99% of
the time. I also noticed that the window did not show any of the "comments"
for the packet spots. I normally use both the full packet window and the spot
window, but had the full window diminished because of needing space for other
windows. I don't remember now from prior contests if the comments show up in
the spot window or not.
Any help on these issues - esp. the problem of the spot window showing the
oldest spots - will be greatly appreciated.
