I tested the patch extensively before Wayne released it. The fix works fine.
Make sure your log is properly set up. You have to set "This Window is Run
(A) Radio" or "This Windw is Mult (B) Radio" from the Radio menu PRIOR to
logging any contacts. Each radio on the network MUST have the proper
setting for "Run" or "Mult" during the entire contest.
The band change window counts band changes, and when you've reached the
maximum allowable, it counts down the minutes to the top of the hour (which
is the next time you can make a band change). That's the normal and
expected behavior.
