I am a new user so please forgive me if this topic has already been
discussed before....
I am having a problem getting the voicekeyer function within WriteLog to key
up my radio properly.
Details:
Icom 756
Icom Serial controller on Com1
Rascal sound card and PTT Interface on Com2
Homemade CW keyer on LPT1 using a 2n2222.
Windows XP Professional
My Rascal card works fine with other software packages. I confirmed this
several times with a couple of different pieces of software. (I use RoverLog
for VHF rovering and it seems to work fine with this configuration.)
What seems to happen is that when I configure the setup/ports it puts my
radio into transmit and never drops the PTT line. I end up having to disable
the sound card option in order to drop the PPT line.
I would like to get this working before I try to get my CW keyer working. (I
haven't even tested the CW keyer with Writelog yet... but I would assume
that it works since it seems to work with other software.)
Any suggestions? Does anyone have a simular configuration that can either
send me a screen capture of their port set or ini file?
I would like to get this working before the DX SSB contest this weekend.
